We Focus on the Root Cause
Merely treating the pain at the locale or area of instability is futile. Pain is usually the end result of an entire system that has gone awry. Our aim is directed on the controls of the structures in jeopardy. By using all the concepts of neurology with techniques designed to utilize the human form and perceptions we can witness results faster and more efficiently with less chance for reoccurrences. Optimal health requires the integration of the nervous system and the human form. Our focus on a patient is not to treat the symptom but the root cause of dysfunction in the first place.
Our neuroscience experts provide an innovative research-based approach to neurological rehabilitation at all levels. We base our work on a concept known as Neuroplasticity, with the end goal being singularly focused on improved neurological function, quality of life, and mental performance in everyday situations and beyond.
Neuroplasticity: Enabling the Brain to Heal
Neuroplasticity allows the nerve cells in the brain to compensate for illness, injury or disease and to make the necessary adjustments in response to new situations or even to changes in the environment.
Simply put, if a section of the brain is damaged, the remaining hemisphere that is intact may have the ability to take over some of its functions. In order for this to take place, new connections need to be formed between intact neurons and stimulated through therapeutic activities.
Nerve cells need fuel and stimulation to thrive, and our treatment is aimed at fulfilling this need. It includes activities that have been shown either by scientific research, case study or immediate pre and post testing to activate nerve cells.
This may include:
- specific adjustments to joints
- light, sound, smell, touch
- balance activities
- nutritional modification
- breathing, physical, eye and cognitive exercises.
Care is very safe, closely monitored and often fun.
